What varies wildly between vendors isn't the headline rate. It's everything around it.

The four things that actually move your bill

1. Quantity. Mattress rental is a logistics business — one van trip carrying 12 mattresses costs us barely more than one carrying 3. That's why bulk pricing is real and worth negotiating. As a rule: 5+ mattresses gets you 10-20% off, and 10+ gets you a custom quote that's usually better still. If a vendor quotes you the same per-unit rate for 2 mattresses and 20, they're not pricing honestly.

2. Duration. Nobody should pay 30 x the daily rate for a month. Weekly rates land around 4-5x the daily figure; monthly around 10-12x. So a single mattress that's ₹499/day is roughly ₹2,200 for a week and ₹5,500-₹6,000 for a month. If your guest is staying three weeks, ask for the monthly rate — it's often cheaper than three weekly blocks.

3. Bedding, or not. A bare mattress is not a bed. Sheets, a protector, a pillow and a blanket are another ₹199/day per set. Most people underestimate this and then buy sheets at the last minute — which defeats the point. Bundle it.

4. Delivery and pickup. This is where quotes diverge most. Our rates include delivery, in-room placement and pickup across Hyderabad. Some vendors quote a low daily rate and add ₹500-₹1,500 for transport, sometimes each way. Always ask: *"Is that price delivered and picked up, or ex-warehouse?"*
